How we work
Editorial Standards
BiblePlainly treats Scripture as authoritative within historic Christianity. We distinguish the biblical text from our interpretation, practical application, and speculation.
Plain without pretending
We aim for direct, understandable explanations. When Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant interpretations differ meaningfully, we identify the strongest mainstream views fairly. We do not turn every article into a denominational comparison.
Care for the reader
Serious problems deserve serious answers. We avoid shallow clichés, guaranteed outcomes, partisan framing, and advice that replaces appropriate medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency help.
Human accountability
Every published page identifies its author. Some articles receive a documented Internal Theological Audit under BiblePlainly’s standards. This is not independent review and does not imply review by a theologian. When a real outside reviewer is used, that person is identified only with permission. AI may assist research and editing, but it does not receive authorship or final editorial authority.
